AMERICO J. "JOE" PIETROPAOLO

85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Cotoia) Pietropaolo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Vincenza (DiTomasso) Pietropaolo.

Besides his wife, Joe is survived by his children Lorrie A. DiRaimo of Cranston and Joseph J. Pietropaolo of Austin, Texas. Mr. Pietropaolo was the brother of Carmella Baccari of North Providence and was also predeceased by five other siblings. Joe was the loving grandfather of Lara and Stacia Pietropaolo, Danielle Krupa, Christopher DiRaimo and Kenny Hanner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
