AMERICO "MIKE" LABBADIA

87, of Central Avenue, Johnston, passed away Sunday, June 13,2010 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. Mike was the husband of Inez (Pfaffko) Labbadia and his late wife Angelina (Puopolo) Labbadia. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Angelo and Maria (Fasole) Labbadia. Mike served in the US Army during WWII. He was employed as a Data Processing Supervisor for Amica Mutual for 27 years until his retirement. Mike was a 33 year member at Valley Country Club in West Warwick, loved ballroom dancing, playing cards with his friends and was a Mason for many years. His greatest love was his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Kathleen A. Volante and her husband Peter of Glocester, his step-daughter Marilynn Bouclin of Warwick, his step-son Jack Merluzzo of Palmdale, CA and 22 nieces and nephews. He was the cherished grandfather of Jessica Angelina Volante of Glocester and Ryan E. Bouclin of Warwick. Mike was the brother of Carmine Labbadia of North Providence, Filomena Chiarello of Lincoln and the late Celeste Seymour. His funeral will be held on Wednesday from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 9:00-10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
