Americo Abatiello Jr

88 of Bradenton, Florida and Coventry, RI passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was the loving husband of Theresa (Iacona) Abatiello for 52 years. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Americo Abatiello, Sr. and Antonetta (DeLuca) Abatiello as well as the father of the late Ricky K. Abatiello.

Mr. Abatiello was a supervisor at North Safety Products Inc. and afterwards retired to Port Charlotte, Florida. For many years, he would take his family on camping trips and vacations. He also enjoyed riding his touring motorcycle and going on day trips with his wife and brothers-in-law. In addition, he enjoyed projects that involved woodworking and remodeling his home.

He is survived by his wife Theresa, his sister Anne Alexander, his children Karen Dumont and her husband Ron, Michael Abatiello and his wife Debbie, Brian Abatiello and his wife Janice, Robert Studley, Charlene Mailhot and her husband Michael, George Studley, Mark Studley and his wife Ellen, and Terry Ann Gadoury. Also, he is survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren as well as several great-great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9th, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Home Service at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Masks are required.
