AMELIA "MILLIE" (PANNONE) De SOCIO

100, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Hebert Nursing Home, Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Pasquale "Pat" DeSocio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Baccari) Pannone. Mille had been a Cranston resident most of her life. Mille enjoyed traveling and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church Cranston and a former member of the Cranston Senior Center. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She was the mother of Patricia A. Antone of Lincoln and the late Frank DeSocio. Sister of Mary Russo of Providence, Joseph Pannone of Providence and the late Angie Landolfi, Clara Cardi, Vincent, Ralph and Frank Pannone. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter who was born on Millie's 100th birthday. Visiting hours will be held on Monday morning from 8:30am - 10:00am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 11:00am.Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Special Olympics-Hellers Angels, 490 Highland Avenue, Attleboro, MA. 02703.
