AMELIA (GRECO) SCUNGIO

92, of Farmington Ave., Providence, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Federico Scungio. Born in Vairano Patenora, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Teresa (Zompa) Greco. Amelia worked in the jewelry industry for many years and was a past member of St. Bartholomew's Women's Guild. She was the devoted mother of Joyce A. Martin and her husband William of Lincoln; loving grandmother of Dr. Joyce M. Martin and Michele A. Martin, both of Hope; loving great-grandmother of Daniel Martin Gauvin, William John Martin Rinaldi and Jack Martin Beckett; and dear sister of Louisa Lafazia of Johnston and Joseph Greco of Coventry. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
