Alvina "Babe" Drewior

78, of Cranston , passed away on January 11, 2019 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Drewior. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta (Corsi) Durante. Alvina was a cook for many years until her retirement at Park View Nursing Home.

She is survived by her children Richard Drewior of North Providence, Christine Peters of Cranston, Karen Drewior of Cranston, Kelly Spires of Providence and Michelle Xavier of Cranston, her siblings Jeanette Giante of Cranston, Rosemarie Thielman of East Providence and Joseph Durante, her grandchildren Frances Peters, David Peters, Brian Xavier, David Tolbert, Magiele Tolbert, Yvonne Xavier, Unique Tolbert and John Hawksley, her great grandchildren Castiel Peters, Chris Kroeung and Skyla Kroeung. She was also the sister of Frances Gajdowski, Frankie Durante and Alfred Durante and great grandmother of the late Finnick Peters.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston  followed by committal prayers and burial to be held in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston at 11 am.
