Alice R. (Stebenne) Nadeau

Alice R. (Stebenne) Nadeau

of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard N. Nadeau. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Aurore (Dumont) Stebenne.

Alice graduated from Notre Dame School and then went off to work. She met and married Richard in 1950 and they had six children whom they loved and cherished; Anne Monk and her husband Tom, Peter Nadeau and his wife Karen, Roberta Boatright, DDS and her husband Seth, James Nadeau, CPA and his wife Patricia, Judith Barlow and her husband Daniel and Mark Nadeau. She was the cherished Mémère of 16 and great grandmother of 11. She was the sister of Leo Stebenne, and the late Charles Stebenne, Blanch Kelley, Albert Stebenne, William Stebenne and Rita Oliver.

A devout Catholic, she raised her children in that direction. After her husband retired they both enjoyed many wonderful trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Florida and many more places across the country, as well as Pilgrimages to Lourdes, Fatima and Spain.



Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Entombment will be private. VISTING HOURS will be Saturday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Masks are required.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alice Nadeau's memory, may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI 02920.
