ALICE CECILIA (ST. GEORGE) HAMPSON

91, of Roslyn Avenue, Cranston, went home to God on Saturday, February 27, 2010. She was the wife of the late Leroy J. Hampson. Born in Acushnet, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Brisson) St. George. Alice was employed as a supervisor at the Fram Corporation for 45 years before her retirement and was a member of St Leo the Great Church of Pawtucket as well as St. Ann Church in Cranston. Alice was the loving mother of Kathleen Ciampanelli of Cranston and the late Christine Duquette and Denise Hampson. She leaves behind a neice, Sandra Ewen, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hampson was the sister of the late Florence St. George and Diana Morey. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Cranston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
