ALICE (PALIOTTI) BELHUMEUR

101, formerly of Pershing Rd., Johnston, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore J. "Ted" Belhumeur. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Giovannina (DiVona) Paliotti.

Mrs. Belhumeur worked for the State of RI School Lunch Program for 10 years before retiring in 1973 and previously worked in the jewelry industry. She was a member of the RI State Employees Union; and a member of St. Anthony's Guild.

Mrs. Belhumeur was the devoted mother of Barbara G. Chappelle and her husband Paul of Coventry, Dr. Ted Belhumeur and his wife Elizabeth Pease of Schenectady, NY and Dr. Richard Belhumeur and his wife Barbara Ann of North Scituate; loving grandmother of Desiree McAloon and her husband Daniel of Coventry, Jennifer Colozzi and her husband Edward "Ted" of Hastings On Hudson, NY and Michael Belhumeur of Albany, NY; loving great-grandmother of Andrew McAloon; and dear sister of the late Louise King, Michael, Frank, Thomas, Mario, Joseph and Pasco Paliotti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, October 25th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield St., Johnston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
