ALFRED V. DE CREDICO

65, of Providence, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent and Josephine (Caserta) DeCredico. Mr. DeCredico was a Professor of Foundation Drawing at the Rhode Island School of Design for over thirty years. He was a graduate of RISD, Painting Department, Class of 1966. Alfred lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed cooking, collecting and above all else teaching. He is survived by his sons, Alessandro V. DeCredico and Cesare G. DeCredico both of Providence. Alfred was the brother of Phyllis A. Iannone of Cranston. His funeral service and burial will be private. A Memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
