ALFRED 'FRED' BUCCI
95, of Middletown and West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Sunday (Father's Day), June 16, 2013. He was the husband of the late Enid (Rocklin) Bucci. His first wife was the late Celia (Spaziano) Bucci. Born in Providence, Mr. Bucci was the son of the late John and Angie Bucci. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving with the rank of Sgt. A dedicated administrator, he was Supply Management Officer at the SeeBee Base in Davisville for 28 years, and a founder and president of the SeeBee Booster Club. He served as president of the Howard Wharf Corp
d/b/a The Pier Restaurant . He was also past President of the Cranston Little League, a Director for the March of Dimes and past Grand Knight Tylor, Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Eastpointe Country Club, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, the Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club, the Navy League of RI, the Newport Lions Club and St. Mary's Church, Newport. Mr. Bucci is survived by his children: Glenna A. Kyriakakis and her husband Spiro of Cumberland, Lorna Pezza and her husband Larry of Cranston, Alfred Bucci of Saunderstown and step-daughters Jill ( Rocklin )Romanelli of Middletown and the late Carol (Rocklin) Ratcliff. He was the beloved Grandpa of Lisa-Marie, Michael, April, Lawrence, Grace, A.Jay, Heather and Sarah, and cherished Great Grandpa of Eric, Celia and Brooklyn. He was the brother of the late Louise, Anthony, Emilio and Etta. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Interment, with military honors , will follow in St. Ann Cemetery , Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes, RI Chapter, 220 West Exchange St., Suite 003, Providence, RI 02903.
