ALESSANDRO "ALEX" CARNEVALE

84, of Macklin St., Cranston passed away on Monday, September 9, 2010 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Maria (Stradone) Carnevale. He was born in Pico Frosinone, Italy a son of the late Giuseppe and Loreta ( Colella ) Carnevale and he resided in Cranston since coming to this country 44 years ago. Mr. Carnevale was a foreman employed by International Chrome & Plating Co. for more than 20 years, retiring in 1983. He was an avid member of the Cranston YMCA for more than 25 years. Nonno was an amazing individual and spectacular father & grandfather. Beside his wife he is survived by his daughters, Liliana Carnevale of Cranston, Marisa Carnevale-Henderson of Longwood, FL, his son-in-law Paul Henderson, his grandchildren, Tiffany and Luca Carnevale and Alex Henderson. He was the brother of Linda Maria Conti and John Carnevale both of Johnston, Antonino Carnevale of Providence and Filomena Colella in Italy. His funeral will be held on Friday at 8am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 9am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8pm.
