ALECK J. DiPETRILLO

65, of North Providence, passed away on Monday February 13, 2012 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Floyd) DiPetrillo. Born in Providence, he was the son of Columbia (Tanzi) DiPetrillo of North Providence and the late Alessio DiPetrillo.

He was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years and also was a band member. He was a supervisor and tool maker for United States Association and also worked for Hamilton Tool. Aleck was a member of the Santa Maria diPrata Society of Cranston and was a volunteer of the North Providence /Johnston Boys Club for 10 years. He also had his own bands the Royal Tones and the Montereys. Aleck was a former parishioner of St. Lawrence Church.
Besides his wife and mother he was the devoted father of Keith A. DiPetrillo of Johnston, Sgt. Brian S. DiPetrillo , NPPD and his wife Michelle of North Providence and Craig J. DiPetrillo and his wife Rebecca of North Providence. He was the loving grandfather of Ryan D. and Landon J. DiPetrillo; dear brother in law of Margie DiPetrillo of Cranston and dear brother of the late Donald C. DiPetrillo.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd. Johnston, at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
