Husband. Father. Brother. Uncle. Friend. Aldo Scottodisantolo, 78, a beloved family man of Cranston, RI and Monte di Procida, Italy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024. August 15 is also a noteworthy date as it's the celebration feast of La Madonna Assunta in his Italian hometown, a remarkable, blessed event each year.
And Aldo was a remarkable, hard-working man who was blessed with family. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Lemoi) Scottodisantolo and the son of the late Domenico and Luisa Scottodisantolo.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Tracie Scotti, Jaymie Cutaia and Lisa Chodos and their husbands; his 5 cherished grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Scotti, Judah and Ruben Chodos and Ava Capri Cutaia; his dear siblings Giovanni, Florence, and the late Pasqualina, Biagio, Michele, Guiseppe, Elia, and Luigi and their spouses, and his many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
As blessed in family, he was also blessed in a strong sense of core values, work ethic, accountability and unconditional love. If he could help his fellow neighbor in need, he did so without hesitation. As such, he was a respected member of the community and a proud retiree of National Chain Group, a company he was proud to serve for nearly 40 years.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday, August 21st from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston.
