ALDO J. MIGNANELLI

83, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Rose V. (Paterno) Mignanelli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (DiGuisseppe) Mignanelli.

Aldo was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran and was the owner & operator of Aldo J. Mignanelli Construction Company for 50 years. He took pride in his craftsmanship specializing in historic restorations on the east side section of Providence and many other communities in RI. He was a former member of the Italo American Club of Providence and the Alpine Country Club of Cranston.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Lori Mignanelli of Johnston, Jayne Bianca of Johnston and John A. Mignanelli and his wife Maria of Cranston; loving grandfather of Colby Ross, Lana Messina, Arianna Mignanelli and the late Paul Messina; loving great-grandfather of Gabriel Ross; and dear brother of Marino Mignanelli.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate at 10 am. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS WEDNESDAY 4-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
