ALDO J. MANGIANTINE, SR

Aldo J. Mangiantine, Sr. 85, of Smithfield Road, North Providence, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Theresa (Sabato) Mangiantine; they were married for sixty-nine years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Victor and Mary (Vitori) Mangiantine. Mr. Mangiantine was a baker at the former Korb's Bakery of Pawtucket for thirty-four years before his retirement. He was a US Army Veteran serving during WW II. Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Aldo J. Mangiantine, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Narragansett and Ronald S. Mangiantine of Rhode Island. He was the father of the late Gwendolyn L. Mangiantine and Robert T. Mangiantine. Mr. Mangiantine was the grandfather of Melissa Valle and her husband Mark, David Mangiantine and Michael Mangiantine. He was the great-grandfather of three. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston and may call Tuesday morning 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
