ALBERTA TROPEA

90, formerly of Providence passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Amilcare "Mel" Tropea. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Amelia (Picerne) Perrotti. Alberta was the mother of Eileen Allen and her husband Marshall of Warwick, Dennis Tropea and his wife Nancy of Cranston. Grandma of Marshall Allen, Jennifer Tropea, Rebecca Zolli, Julie Goodrich and Greg Tropea. Great Grandma of Brenna Zolli. Sister of the late Evelyn Caliri, Phyllis Menna, Alfred, Conrad, Frank, Joseph and Thomas Perrotti. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Avenue Cranston at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning 8:30-10:00 am.
