ALBERTA F. (FRINK) OWEN

Alberta F. (Frink) Owen 95, of Oak Hill Road, North Kingstown, died after a long and extended illness on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at South County Nursing Home, North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Richard G. Owen. Born in Millis, MA, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sadie (Holder) Frink. She resided in Springfield, MA for many years before moving to Wakefield in 1985. Mrs. Owen was employed in the payroll department by the former A&P Supermarkets for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant and choir member of the Wakefield Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Richard D. Owen and his wife Barbara of Fresno, CA, Frederick A. Owen and his wife Betty of Wakefield. Mrs. Owen was the mother of the late Edward A. Owen and Pamela F. Owen and the sister of the late Wendell Frink. She was the grandmother of many adoring grand and great-grandchildren in CA and RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Newport Memorial Park, 123 Howland Avenue, Middletown. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
