ALBERT A. THACKER, SR

Albert A. Thacker Sr. 80, of Central Ave. Johnston, died on Wednesday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Lucille F. (Fontaine) Thacker. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Loretta (Baxter) Thacker. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. Mr. Thacker worked for Ward, Fisher & Company of Warwick as a CPA for forty five years until his retirement. He was a member of the RISCPA and AICPA and a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church Johnston. Besides his wife he is survived by his two sons, Albert A. Thacker Jr. of Johnston and Steven P. Thacker of Scituate, his two grandchildren Robin and Scott Thacker. He was the brother of Robert Thacker of Coventry and the late John and James Thacker. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine, Church Johnston at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be In Highland Memorial Park Johnston.
