ALBERT A. SMITH

Albert A. Smith 89, of Kelly St. Providence, passed away Sunday February 17, 2008, at Harborside Greenwood in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (DeMeo) Smith. Born in Providence, son of the late Lester and Nora (Nystedt) Smith. Mr. Smith was a truck driver for South Elmwood Oil and Ice Company, and was US Army veteran. He was an avid bowler and Red Sox Fan. Albert is survived by his loving daughters, Doris Paquin and her husband Paul of Providence, Gloria McDonald of Warwick. He was the grandfather of 3, great grandfather of 6 and was the father in-law of the late James McDonald and brother of the late Mildred Brown. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew Church Laurel Hill Ave. Providence. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
