Albert U. Sabitoni

94, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.  He was the beloved husband of sixty-eight years to the late Elsie (Hardy) Sabitoni. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Emilio and Serafina (Cerra) Sabitoni. Albert worked at General Electric for many years before his retirement.  He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by his loving children, Maureen Iacovone of Cranston, Albert Sabitoni and his wife Kathy of North Providence, Michael Sabitoni and his wife Karen of Cranston, and the late Rosemarie Randall. Albert was the cherished grandfather of five and the great-grandfather of two. He was the brother of the late Pia Barbieri, Joseph, Gene, Armando, and Julio Sabitoni.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston, and will also be livestreamed through http://www.facebook.com/stgeorgemaronitecatholicchurchRI . Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Thursday 6-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brentwood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Facility, Activities Fund, 4000 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886.
