Albert J. Rouleau

ALBERT J. ROULEAU, 90, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred R. (Dauphinee) Rouleau.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Yvonne (Gendreau) Rouleau.

Mr. Rouleau was a former schoolteacher and later was quality control manager at Universal Optical.  He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and has bachelor’s degrees from both Providence College and Rhode Island College; and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

Mr. Rouleau was the devoted father of Albert Rouleau, Jr., Susan Rouleau, Christine Goding, Gregory Rouleau and his wife Carin, Michael Rouleau and his husband Ken and Claire Thorley; cherished grandfather of ten; loving great-grandfather of nine; and dear brother of the late George Rouleau, Marcelle Rouleau, Florence Rouleau, Sr. Yvonne Rouleau and Sr. Claire Rouleau.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to funeral service.
