80, of 8 Forand Circle, Johnston, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Viola (Cimaglia) Piccoli. Mr. Piccoli was a jewelry worker for 60 years employed at Franor Company and later at Federal Polishing Company before his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, mushrooming, and also playing poker. Besides his wife he was the father of Debra Tevyaw of Johnston and Albert Piccoli, Jr. of Providence; grandfather of Joseph III and Krystal Vento: Albert III and Danielle Piccoli. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and brother of Alphonso Piccoli, Phyllis Aiello, and Arlene Russo, all of Johnston and the late Mary Cipriano, Mitilda Ferraro, Lucy Calitri, Rose Sauro and Salvatore, Adolph, Fiore, Andrew and Michael Piccoli. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., at 10am.
