Albert R. Messier, Jr.

64, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of Linda A. (Bartnick) Messier.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert, Sr. and Gloria (Leveillee) Messier.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Nicole Messier, Christopher Messier; stepchildren Clayton Dilello III, Ryan Dilello, Elliott Rooney; grandchildren Angela LaFlemme, Michaela LaFlemme, Caitlyn Harpin, Clayton Dilello IV, Cooper Messier; siblings Ann Marie Chiello, Donald Messier, James Messier, Doreen Montaquila.

Albert worked as a maintenance technician for many years.  He was a member of the Hope Church in Cranston, RI and was also a volunteer for the Providence Rescue Mission.  Albert was an awesome and loving uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, Barbeque chicken, and he loved the Lord.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, June 29^th at 10:30 a.m. in Hope Church, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, RI, followed by a catered Barbeque meal at the Santa Maria di Prata Society at 31 Walnut Grove Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.  Burial will be private.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
