ALBERT B. LAWRENCE

82, of Jordan Ave. Cranston, passed away on Friday January 29, 2010 at RI Hospital in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine Mae (Hesketh) Lawrence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Clifford) Lawrence. Albert was a photoengraver for Lonsdale Graphics and Livermore & Knight for many years before his retirement. He was an avid woodworker, loved bowling and was a former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was the devoted father of Robert B. Lawrence and his wife Valerie of Cranston, Diane L. Wright and her husband Thomas of Jamestown and Lori A. Johnson of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of eight and dear brother of Roy Lawrence of Texas, Harry Smith of PA. and the late Arlene Baranski. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by interment in Highland Memorial Park Johnston. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m.
