Albert E. "Ajax" Jackson 66, of Algonquin Trail, Cranston, died suddenly surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 30, 2007 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Jean F. (Nelson) Jackson. They were married for the past forty-two years. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Archibald and Emma (Marchesseault) Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a truck driver for Centrex Distributing Company of West Greenwich for forty-one years before retiring in 2003. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War era. Mr. Jackson was a member of Union Local #251, East Providence and the East Greenwich Fireman's Association. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Janine S. Jackson of Sterling, CT, Lori A. Jackson of Johnston and Sherri A. Wallace of Richmond. Mr. Jackson was the grandfather of one grandson Tyler Jackson Wallace. He was the brother of the late Archibald L. Jackson Jr., Alfred C. Jackson, Arthur J. Jackson and Andrew T. Jackson. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter.
