Providence for 24 years, and co-founder of the Chicken Coop restaurants in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut for 24 years, retiring in 1976 died at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday February 14, 2012. He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Goodreau) Colaluca
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Massimino and Nicolean (Abbenante) Colaluca. He lived in North Providence for 14 years, in Auburn Massachusetts for26 years and in Johnston his remaining years.
He leaves a sister, Jessica Notorantonio of North Providence. He was the brother of the late Teresa Monti, Elizabeth DeRentiis, Jennie Colaluca, Viola Colaluca, Cammillo, Nicholas, Anthony and Peter Colaluca. He also was the uncle of the late Robert Colaluca. He is survived by nieces and nephews and great- nieces and great-nephews.
VISITING HOURS SUNDAY from 2p.m. to 4p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a prayer service at 4p.m. Burial will be private.
