Albert A. Casali, Sr.

Albert A. Casali, Sr. 98, of Cranston passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, with his family by his side. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Antonio and Theresa (Bertorelli) Casali. He was the beloved husband of the late Angelina A. (Rosetti) Casali. 

He was in the retail liquor business of over 80 years and co-founder of the former Peerless Liquor in Providence, with is brother Charles. He was also the founder of the current A & T CASALI LIQUORS, in Cranston. 

He was the devoted and primary caretaker of his late wife Angelina in her final years. He enjoyed his family, spending winters in Pompano Beach Florida and was proud of his business accomplishments. 

 He is survived by his sons Albert A. Casali, Jr, and his wife Marie, Michael Casali and his husband Nicholas DiNobile, and Thomas Casali and his wife Janice. He was the loving grandfather of Kristy Procaccianti, Gina Coccia, Thomas Casali, and Michael Casali. He also leaves nine great grandchildren, all of Cranston. He was predeceased by his siblings Mufalda Spaziano, Marina DiSciullo, and Charles Casali. 

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Holy Apostles, 800 Pippin Orchid Rd., Cranston. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be from 8:00 – 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
