Albert DiCarlo, Jr. Of Johnston, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Albert J. and Anna (Box) DiCarlo, Sr. Mr. DiCarlo was a graduate of Central High School and went on to serve in the Rhode Island National Guard. He later made a career in the jewelry industry. Mr. DiCarlo was the owner and operator of the former D's Polishing Company of Cranston before retiring in 1992. He is survived by his children Michael DiCarlo of Michigan and Michelle D'Amico of Warwick Mr. DiCarlo was the father of the late Karen Shipman. Mr. DiCarlo was the grandfather of five. He was the brother of Geraldine Fortin, Denise Farias, Donna DiCarlo, and Paula LaBonte, all of Johnston, Shirley Gordon of Warwick, Janice Lepizzera of Foster, Ronald DiCarlo of North Carolina, Raymond DiCarlo of Providence and Richard DiCarlo of Kentucky. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy's Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
