Alan G. Simpson
81, of Bennington Rd. Cranston, passed away Saturday September 19, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Elena (Rochira) Simpson. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late George and Ethel (Pindar) Simpson. Mr. Simpson was a credit manager for Criterion Metals, and was also a US Marines veteran. Alan is survived by his loving children, Bruce Simpson and his wife Peta Ann of Warwick and Carol Simpson of Cranston. He was also the cherished grandfather of Cameron Simpson, and was the brother of the late George and Stanley Simpson and Jean Ward. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service followed by military honors on Thursday at 11 am in St. Ann's Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
