75, of Cranston passed away on Friday July 30, 2021 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rose (Potter) Lemay.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late of the late Albert and Filomena (Trofa ) Lemay. Alan was the owner and operator of The Square Yard for 30 years before retiring and was a Captain in the Army during the Vietnam era.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Alana Gibson of Houston, Texas and Aaron Lemay of Cranston; loving grandfather of Rachel Mello, Corey, Sarah and Alan Lemay; and loving great grandfather of Lilly and Alexia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday August 7, 2021 at St. Bartholomew’s Church 305 Laurel Hill Ave. Providence at 10 a.m.. Inurnment with Military Honors will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association 245 Waterman Street Suite 306 Providence, RI 02906.
