Alan J. DeFusco

70, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Alan was the son of the late Pasco and Anita A. (Caldarone) DeFusco.

After graduating from college, Alan worked in the financial services field for many years.  He had previously been a co-owner of DeFusco Brothers, Inc., a family automotive business, located in Warwick.

Aside from his love of fast cars and horses, he was never one to shy away from a good conversation or debate with friends, family and acquaintances.

Alan is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Linda R. (DeMarco) DeFusco, his beloved children David A. DeFusco and his wife Randi (Volpe) of Warwick, and Alan M. DeFusco of Cranston.  He was the dear brother of Paul J. DeFusco of North Kingstown, and Ann Marie Mangiacapra and her husband, Louis of Johnston.  He was the cherished grandfather of Ava L. DeFusco and much-loved uncle to two nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 1st at St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston, RI at 10 a.m.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane Road, Warwick, RI 02886.  Visit NardolilloFH.com for online condolences.
