91, of Warwick passed away on Monday February 5, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Louise (Bettencourt) Voccio. She was the beloved wife of the late Gennaro Conti, Jr.
Family was of utmost importance to her spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was when she was the happiest. Preparing meals for them was a must, you would never leave a visit unless you had eaten. It was said that she had the best meatballs this side of heaven. She traveled extensively with family and friends. Alongside her husband they achieved the lifelong dream of owning a home in Florida. She was also a devout catholic, and a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Known as a “prayer warrior” she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Prayer Circle.
She was the cherished mother of Don T. Volino and his wife Heather, Doreen A. Maw, and her husband Brian. She was the devoted grandmother of Michaela Erausquin, Don T. Volino, Jr., Jerry E. Volino, Abby DiPrete, Kate O’Connell, and Brian Maw, Jr. She was the adored great grandmother to Madeline and Grady Ritch, Aubree Erausquin, Elle & Liv O’Connell, Ava & Jake DiPrete, Sophia & Teddy Volino, and Brian Maw, III. She was the loving sister of Shirley Santurri, and the late Charles R. Voccio.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Saturday from 9:00 -10:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial will be immediately following at St. Ann Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to Epilepsy Foundation of New England, 650 Suffolk St., Ste 405, Lowell, MA 01854-3642.
