AGAVNE BERBERIAN (NORIGIAN)
AGAVNE (NORIGIAN) BERBERIAN, 97, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Misak S. Berberian.
Born in Palou-Nerkhi, Armenia, she was the daughter of the late Khachadoor and Shooshan (Aramian) Norigian.
Mrs. Berberian was a survivor of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
She was the devoted mother of Sarkis "Jon" Berberian and his wife Elizabeth of Providence, Hapet A. Berberian and his wife Stephanie of Wellesley, MA, and Lillian Klanian and her husband Peter of East Greenwich; loving grandmother of eleven; loving great-grandmother of six; dear sister of Michael Norigian of Cranston and the late Robert Norigian; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Her happiness came from spending time with her family and teaching the importance of family values.
Her funeral will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
