ADRIENNE E. (LIBBY) DEAN

93, of North Kingstown and formerly of Cranston, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald F. Dean and the late Marcel J. Gagnon. Born in Davenport, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Amedee and Imelda (Lafayette) Libby.

Mrs. Dean was a Tax Return Reviewer for the Internal Revenue Service in Providence, RI. She enjoyed art and painted throughout her life until her passing. Adrienne remained active and also enjoyed reading, word finds, tennis and bingo.

She was the devoted mother of Diane Gagnon McGwin and her husband Mark E. McGwin, III of North Attleboro, MA; loving grandmother of Mark and Katherine McGwin; and dear sister of the late Laurence Libby. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
