Adeline “Addie” Rachael (Leporacci) Bossone, 87 of Cranston passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at Anchor Bay Memory Care in Johston. She was the beloved wife of the late John Bossone, the sister of the late Antonetta Barbieri and sister-in-law of the late Xavier Barbieri.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella (Esposito) Leporacci.
After graduating from St. Mary’s Academy of the Visitation in 1955 she went on to live a full life in Business as an Administrative Assistant for various local Radio Stations, and teaching Computers at the “School of Business” (now known as Johnson & Wales University). She retired from Fatima Hospital as the Administrative Secretary to the Director of Housekeeping.
Addie married the love her life John Bossone. They enjoyed traveling and going to Hawaii every two years. Our Italian Family gatherings were her heart. She had a refined sense of humor and was always ready and willing to help other. She was everyone’s friend.
This past years Addie enjoyed the comfort and care given to her by the “Extended Family”, the compassionate staff at the Memory Care Unit of Anchor Bay, at Pocasset.
Addie is survived by many cousins, and Tallulah her best friend the shih tzu. She will be in our hearts forever.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at 10:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday morning from 9:00 -10:00 am.
