Adail D. Ferreira

of Cranston, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Maria N. (Fonseca) Ferreira.  Born in Fornotelheiro, Portugal, he was the devoted son of Maria A. (Fonseca) Ferreira of Cranston and the late Joaquim D. Ferreira.

Adail was a machine operator in the cable wire industry for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife and mother, he was the loving father of Ricardo Ferreira and his wife Maryssa of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Viviana, Dominic and Mauricio; dear brother of Rosa Mendes of Cranston and Olga I. Lourenco of Palm Coast, FL; and adored uncle of several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. (seating will be limited, social distancing and masks required).  Burial at St. Ann Cemetery will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
