Jean M. Pagano, 53 of Cranston, passed away Tuesday June 7, 2022, with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of Anthony and Rosealba (Turano) Pagano. She was the former wife of Tony Verdi.

Jean was a graduate of Cranston High School West and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Providence College. She was a paralegal, working first with Paul Bogosian and Paul Anderson, her long-time mentors. She most recently worked with DiOrio Law Offices.  Jean enjoyed many adventures with her dear friend Milva.  Her children cherish the many photo scrapbooks she lovingly created for each of them over the years.  Jean’s greatest love was her family and simple family gatherings. Her devotion to her children was her legacy; she never missed a sporting event or school function.

Jean was the beloved mother of Anthony (AJ) J. Verdi, Christopher (Chris) D. Verdi, and Julia R. Verdi.  She is also survived by a sister Lisa M. Pagano and a sister-by marriage Adriana Pagano, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her absolute rock and brother, James A. Pagano.

Her funeral will leave Saturday June 11, 2022, at 9:00 AM from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mark’s Church, 9 Garden Ct., Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. VISTING HOURS will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lt. Jim Pagano Foundation, P.O. Box 8798, Cranston, RI 02920, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
