Giuseppina (Carnevale) DellaPosta

passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston.  She was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe DellaPosta.  Born in Pico, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Paolino and Maria (Vallone) Carnevale.

Giuseppina was a bus aide for the Town of Johnston before retiring; and was a member of the Santa Maria diPrata Society.

She was the devoted mother of Luigi DellaPosta and his wife Joan and Franco DellaPosta and his wife Gina, all of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Heather, Erik, Angelica and Kristiana; loving great-grandmother of Angelo and Sophia; and dear sister of Vincenzo Carnevale and Antonio Carnevale, both of Cranston, Alessandra Cece of Providence and the late Mario Carnevale.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 8th at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Entombment in Mother of Hope Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston will be private.

Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston.
