Carmella (Bonelli) Manzotti

96, of Johnston, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Taft Manzotti. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Filomena (DiMuccio) Bonelli. Carmella was a Braide Attender for the former Lincoln Lace & Braide for twenty years before her retirement in 1986. She had previously worked as an inspector for Imperial Knife Company for twenty years. After her retirement she worked for the Department of Elderly Affairs at Job Service, Providence, Nickerson House, and Federal Hill House.

She is survived by her loving sons, Taft A. Manzotti and his wife Gail of North Providence, and John D. Manzotti of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of Erica, Mia, Manda, Taft J., Taft N., Nathan, Ross, and Giovanni Manzotti and the great-grandmother of Mila, Isla, Mason, Justino, Thomas G. and Thomas T. Carmella was the sister of the late Jessie Suffoletta.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
