91, of North Providence, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Clorinda “Linda” (Mattera) Fargnoli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Francesca (DiBiasio) Fargnoli. In 1952, Mr. Fargnoli opened Bus Stop Market, a local small business pillar, operated until 2002 when he retired. Tony was known for his generosity and was highly respected in his community. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his loving children, Joseph Fargnoli and his wife Susie of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Diane Fargnoli of Cranston, Anthony Fargnoli and his wife Lisa of North Providence and Michael Fargnoli of Orlando, FL. He was the cherished grandfather of Erika, Elise, Adrianna, Seth and Gian; adored great-grandfather of five. Tony was the brother of the late Antonetta Caldamone, Crestina and Antonio Fargnoli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. His burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4:00-8:00 p.m., in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory,1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
